[Update]: Mortal Sin has now landed into Steam Early Access, and so far things are looking quite good.

If you're in the mood for something a little bit out of the ordinary, you might want to keep an eye on the upcoming Mortal Sin. It's a horror themed hack & slash roguelike with a thoroughly unique art style that is simultaneously charming and unsettling.

Since this is one of those things that's basically impossible to describe through words alone, allow me to share with you the recently posted gameplay trailer. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Mortal Sin is all about. Have a look:

As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, Mortal Sin will feature fully randomized levels, as well as a wide assortment of items, spells and perks to mix and match. The open-ended world will also come with multiple different paths to explore, so as long as the randomization is well done, the replay value should be pretty high.

How exactly all of this will pan out, that we'll find out soon enough as Mortal Sin is set to arrive in Q1 2022. Once it does I'll make sure to let you know, but for now you can read a little bit more about it over at Steam. Enjoy!
