Cantata official artwork for the large-scale turn-based strategy game

The freshly released Cantata is a stylish hybrid between a classic turn-based strategy game and something like Factorio. As such, you need to not only outmaneuver and overwhelm your opponents with a wide assortment of units, but also ensure your entire production line and supply chain are able to keep up so you don't find yourself suddenly stranded in enemy territory.

What this looks like in action, however, that you can get a pretty good impression of through the launch trailer below. Have a gander:

While Cantata does show a great deal of promise, it's important to mention that it has only just landed into Early Access and is thus unfinished. The current version contains only the first out of three acts, and according to the developers the whole thing will likely take about a year to be fully finished.

So if you're planning to jump in early, make sure to utilize the in-built modding support to either create your own maps or import those from other players. That should help keep you nice and busy while the team works on implementing everything lined out on the roadmap.

You can check out Cantata's plans for the future, as well as some of the player reviews, over at Steam. Enjoy!
