Hellmut artwork that parodies the famous Doom cover

Hellmut: the Badass from Hell is a completely over-the-top and fast-paced dungeon crawler that pits you against overwhelming numbers of demons. You'll have to explore randomly generated worlds in order to beat up bosses, find treasure and weapons to help 'liberate' even more treasure and weapons from your enemies, and "basically murderize a shockingly large number of demons."

Since trying to explain this type of game through words alone is a bit of a pointless task, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It will quickly let you know whether Hellmut is the type of game you'd enjoy or not. Have a look:

Hellmut has only just released so there aren't that many reviews available, but if you would believe the ones that are currently there then Hellmut is quite similar to Enter the Gungeon when it comes to shooting up enemies. Whether you consider that good or bad, I would recommend checking out a few more videos before making any sort of decision. The official Youtube channel has quite a few of them, so you should head over there first.

If you prefer the written word, however, you can learn more about Hellmut by visiting either Steam, GOG, or the official website. As far as consoles are concerned, the current plan is for Hellmut to arrive on PS4, Xbox One and Switch at some point in Q2, 2018. And with that said, I'll leave you with a couple of colorful images:
