After spending about a year in Early Access, the Mount & Blade inspired action-RPG Empire of Ember is now nearly ready for launch. Once it arrives on January 20th it'll bring with it a combat system designed around massive battles between armies, the ability to design and fully demolish fortresses, and just to spice things up a bit, a bunch of dungeons to pillage for loot and resources in between all of the warmongering.

As is tradition, the full release will also be accompanied by a major update. The exact details have not been revealed just yet, but considering that the previous update added the finale, it's highly likely the launch patch will be primarily about polishing up the existing content and getting rid of any remaining bugs.
