If you're tired of the run & gun gameplay of various battle royale shooters and you're looking for something a bit more relaxing, you might want to check out the newly released Eastshade. It's an exploration-adventure where you'll get to wonder across a giant world, paint some of the most impressive vistas you find, brighten the lives of various characters you find along the way, and naturally, discover the numerous mysteries that litter the land.

You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks like in gameplay terms, as well as what sort of atmosphere Eastshade is going for, in the trailer below. Have a peek, it's quite a charming game:

Before you make any sort of decision about Eastshade, it's important to mention that the focus is quite firmly placed on atmosphere and exploration. It's not a 'true walking simulator' as there is quite a few things you can do besides simply jog around, but that said, taking in the scenery is definitely a major part of the whole experience. Personally, I don't consider this to be a negative, though I can definitely understand if some of your are looking for a bit more action with your exploration.

Whatever the case may be, you can learn more about Eastshade, as well as grab yourself a copy, by heading over to Steam. Have fun!
