[Update]: After a rather eventful Early Access stay, GTFO has now been fully released.

GTFO is a hardcore, co-op focused shooter that's all about exploring a gigantic underground complex and blasting your way through hordes upon hordes of twisted monstrosities. With limited supplies and specialized weapons, teamwork is not only highly useful, but pretty much mandatory if you intend to survive for long.

Since there's only so much you can explain through words alone, allow me to share with you one of the recent overview trailers. It'll give you a pretty good idea of just what I mean when I call GTFO hardcore, as well as what the actual gameplay is all about. Have a peek:

It is very important to once again note that GTFO is currently in Early Access, and as such is well and truly unfinished. In fact, it doesn't even have matchmaking right now, so if you do decide to play it, you'll have to find your teammates through either community Discord channels or Steam groups. Needless to say, that's not exactly ideal for a multiplayer game.

So if you're interested in grabbing GTFO, make sure to do a little bit of research beforehand, just so you know what you're getting yourself into. Personally, I'd start with the Steam page and some of the user reviews.
