Before you get all of your friends involved, it is worth mentioning that Overcooked does not have online multiplayer. As such, if you plan on playing with friends from all across the globe, you will have to go through quite a few workarounds in order to make it happen. It's still possible, mind you, but the whole process is definitely going to be a bit fiddly.
