Faith: The Unholy Trinity 8-bit atmospheric horror artwork and logo

[Update]: Faith: The Unholy Trinity has now arrived, and unsurprisingly the Steam reviews have been overwhelmingly positive so far!

If you're in the mood to try out a rather unusual horror game this Halloween season, the upcoming Faith: The Unholy Trinity should fit the bill quite nicely. Once it arrives this October 21st onto PC, Faith will task you with exploring everything from haunted forests to abandoned churches and Satanic cults in an effort to prevent something truly evil from taking root in our world.

All of this is portrayed through surprisingly goofy 8-bit artwork which, ironically enough, only seems to make the whole descent into madness feel even more eerie. But enough of my prattling, allow me to share with you one of the trailers for the very first episode. That should instantly let you know just what Faith is really all about. Have a gander:

Those of you still unsure on where exactly you stand with Faith and its particular brand of horror might be interested to hear that there is a free demo available. So if you have even a bit of time to spare, I would highly recommend giving the demo a try. Faith might look like a low-effort meme game on the surface, but there's a lot more going on here, though I won't go into any specifics as diving in completely fresh will give you the best experience.

You can check out the demo, as well as learn more about Faith: The Unholy Trinity, over at Steam. Enjoy, and I'll make sure to let you know once it goes live next week.
