[Update]: January 24th has now arrived, and with it Hidden Deep has now launched into Early Access!

Hidden Deep is an upcoming horror-action game heavily inspired by oldschool classics like The Thing and Aliens. What this means in gameplay terms is that you will spend a lot of time exploring cramped underground caverns, avoiding all sorts of nightmarish monstrosities with specialized equipment like grappling hooks and terrain scanners, and when all else fails, dealing with the problem directly through either firepower or heavy machinery.

While Hidden Deep will be launching into Early Access at some point this year, you can give it a try beforehand by jumping into the freshly unleashed beta. Simply head on over to Steam, click on the green "Request Access" button, and you should be able to get in after a bit of a wait.
