After being pushed back a couple of weeks in order to get everything nice and polished up, the roguelike action game Rogue Legacy 2 has now landed onto Steam Early Access. Much like its predecessor, Rogue Legacy 2 will have you explore a large and randomly generated world with a variety of equally random characters, each of which will have some sort of strange or interesting quirk for you to contend with.

Since this is a concept that's far easier to explain through actual gameplay, allow me to share the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander, it's a rather informative one:

If everything goes according to plan, Rogue Legacy 2 will spend about a year in Early Access, during which it will recieve a major update every two months. The plan is to greatly expand the number of enemies and bosses, potential traits and randomized rooms, as well as further flesh out the storyline. So while the current version of Rogue Legacy 2 is fully playable, those wishing to get the full experience might want to wait a few more months.

Whatever your thoughts on the matter may be, you can learn more about Rogue Legacy 2 and its Early Access progress over at Steam. Have fun!
