If you have an itch for old school adventure games and a good dozen hours to burn, you're in luck as the Humble 'Day of the Devs 2016' Bundle has arrived. It brings with it Broken Age, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Oxenfree, and more!
Whether you're looking to 'splurge' out for the $9 tier or just go with the 'pay what you want' option, this Humble Bundle is without a single doubt a great choice for anyone interested in adventure games. So what exactly does it contain? Well, here's the whole list:
Pay what you want:
• Lumino City
• Broken Age
• Titan Souls
Pay more than the average of $4.35 to unlock:
• Massive Chalice
• Grim Fandango Remastered
Pay $9 or more to unlock:
• Day of the Tentacle Remastered
• Day of the Devs VIP Ticket
If you're not sure whether you actually enjoy adventure games or not, I would still recommend you grab the first tier. Both Broken Age and Titan Souls are rather intriguing, albeit short games that are well worth a playthrough, especially if you can grab them on the cheap. On the other hand, if you're up for something a bit more meaty I would recommend you go with the second tier. It gives you all of the above but also the remastered version of Grim Fandango, one of the best point&click games out there, as well as Oxenfree - a truly bizarre, yet still enjoyable story-focused adventure. As for the third tier, I wouldn't call it bad by any stretch, but it simply offers less in terms of value than its predecessors so I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a big fan of Day of the Tentacle.
