BloodRayne: Terminal Cut official artwork without logo

After the unbelievably awful 2005 movie, the BloodRayne series slowly faded away into obscurity. Quite a few years have gone by since then, which is why I'm both shocked and pleased to announce that BloodRayne 1 and 2 are soon getting HD remasters!

BloodRayne 1 and 2's Terminal Cut edition will be launching this November 20th for PC, and will bring support for 4K resolutions along with improved rendering with up to 4x anti-aliasing. You can also expect to see support for modern gamepads, upscaled cinematic videos, improvements to the lighting engine, uncompressed original textures, as well as a variety of graphical tweaks to reflections, water, fog and shadows.

You can get a little glimpse at what all of this looks like in gameplay through the recently posted teaser. It's not a very long video or detailed video, but it'll hopefully clue you in on just what the Terminal Cut editions will be like. Have a peek:

The best piece of news I can offer, however, is that Ziggurat Interactive and some of the original creators are still interested in developing new BloodRayne games. So if these remasters end up making enough of a splash, don't be surprised to see BloodRayne 3 at some point in the future!

Until then, you can read a little bit more about the BloodRayne: Terminal Cut edition over at the official website.
