Rainbow Six Siege artwork for the Echo operator

Even though its launch was extremely shaky, Rainbow Six Siege ended up being a great deal of fun, so much so that its still being heavily played despite numerous other 'big' shooters coming and going. And given its success so far, it shouldn't come as any surprise to hear that Ubisoft will be continuing with the content flow into 2017 as well.

What might come as a surprise, however, is that Ubisoft has already started selling the pre-orders for the Year 2 Season Pass. While that's a bit ridiculous given that we don't even have the release date for the first content pack just yet, it does bring with it one upside - a list of planned Operators and cosmetics for 2017. Here it is:

Total War: Warhammer's upcoming lord Duurthu

Once December 8th rolls around Total War: Warhammer will be getting its second faction DLC - Realm of the Wood Elves. As you can probably guess from the name alone, its bringing with it the Wood Elves as a brand new faction along with their own Legendary Lords, exclusive units, story campaign, lores of magic, mechanics, and so forth.

Since all of this might be a bit hard to grasp, especially if you know very little Warhammer lore, Creative Assembly has decided to release a brief and extremely cheesy overview of what exactly the Wood Elves are. So if you're interested in the short version of their lore, battlefield tactics, heroes, and available units, have a look:

The Walking Dead: Season 3 official screenshot of Clementine and Javier

Its been known for a while now that The Walking Dead: Season 3 will allow us to play as both Clementine and her newfound companion Javier, but who exactly he was Telltale didn't elaborate. And with Season 3 set to release on December 20, its about time we've finally received a little bit of characterization for someone we're bound to spend hours upon hours keeping alive from all sorts of horrible mishaps.

So if you're up for learning a couple of details about Javier, more specifically about how he first encountered the zombie menace, head over to the video down below. Oh, and don't worry about spoilers because the biggest revelation you'll get from the video is that zombies do indeed exist. Anyway, have a look:

Path of Exile breach expansion artwork of a magical hammer

If you were holding off on giving Path of Exile a try, now would be the best time to do so as the new Breach expansion has arrived! It brought with it two new Leagues that offer a fresh start for all players, a variety of new items and spells, as well as a whole host of new monsters to fight in.... you guessed it, the Breach!

In case you're wondering what all of this new content might look like, Grinding Gear Games also released a brief preview video showcasing the most interesting parts. Have a look:

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition screenshot showing off the new visuals

Bulletstorm, the incredibly mature shooter that's all about hitting people in the groin and then chucking them onto a cactus, is apparently getting a new and improved version. The rather tamely named Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will bring with it hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, better audio, and most importantly, a much smoother frame rate - even on 4K resolutions!

If you're wondering what this might look like, Gearbox released a rather terrible trailer showcasing the visual and audio improvements. The fancy new graphics are all there, but the trailer has almost none of the personality and ridiculously over the top violence Bullestorm is famous for, so do bear that in mind before you dive in. Disclaimers aside, here's the video:

Full Throttle Remastered screenshot showcasing the new graphics

Ever since Day of the Tentacle Remastered was announced many were expecting to see Full Throttle get the same treatment, and as it so happens, a remastered version is currently in production! It is bringing with it brand new hand-drawn artwork, high resolution animations and backgrounds, as well as higher quality music to make all those hours spent on the road much more enjoyable.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like, here's the recently posted 'First Look' trailer showcasing just that. As for the actual gameplay, I'm afraid you're going to have to wait for a little while longer before you get to see it as Full Throttle Remastered is still under heavy development. Anyway, here's the video:

Star Wars: The Old Republic's Knights of the Eternal Throne official artwork

If you're a fan of the previous Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, you'll be glad to hear that its followup is now live and available. The newly released Knights of the Eternal Throne brings with it new characters to fight alongside, a variety of (hopefully) interesting choices that will test your allegiance to the dark/light side of the force, as well as a brand new story campaign focusing on Vaylin -  the most dangerously unhinged member of Valkorion's family.

Since that last part might as well be utter gibberish to anyone that hasn't played Star Wars: The Old Republic in recent times, here's a brief cinematic short showing off Vaylin's rise to power, and some of the story themes present in the Knights of the Eternal Empire expansion. Even if you don't really care about the lore I would still recommend giving it a look, its a surprisingly well told story!

World of Warcraft's Goblin delivering patch notes

A couple of weeks ago the World of Warcraft PTR has been updated with some highly experimental, and equally controversial changes. Since there are far too many balance changes to simply cover in a paragraph or two, let's just say that several classes suddenly found themselves completely neutered in not just damage output, but in terms of rotation as well. And given the World of Warcraft team's now legendary inability to actually communicate with their playerbase, these changes predictably resulted in a whole bunch of anger and confusion.

Thankfully, the PTR (Public Test Realm) has recently been updated with a brand new batch of changes, most of which are aimed at complementing the previous ones. You can read the full list over at MMO-Champion, because trying to get actual data from Blizzard is nigh impossible, but before you do just be aware that these changes are not yet numerically balanced... at all! As stated by WoW's Game Director himself, they are currently trying out some experimental mechanics changes to see if they work or not, so don't expect any of this to actually go through in their current state. Here's the full quote:

Total War: Warhammer's Wood Elves army

If you haven't been paying attention to Total War: Warhammer these past few weeks you may have missed the announcement for the latest DLC - Realm of the Wood Elves. As you can probably guess given the name, it brings with it the brand new Wood Elves faction along with new Legendary Lords, exclusive units, a mini story campaign, and all of the other features you have come to expect from a standalone faction.

And if you're wondering what these rather scrawny looking Elves might do in battle, Creative Assembly has also recently released a rather lengthy gameplay preview showcasing them in the thick of combat. Have a look:

Titanfall 2's Angel City official artwork

If you've been itching to find out what Titanfall 2 is all about, but you didn't feel like dropping a rather sizable chunk of change to do so, I'm happy to announce that there is a free multiplayer trial incoming! Starting from tomorrow, December 2nd, players on all three platforms will be able to access every single aspect of Titanfall 2's multiplayer for a limited amount of time. And if you're wondering how long a "limited amount of time" is exactly, I'm afraid there is currently no specific answer, but its most likely going to be a couple of hours, at the very least.

So what exactly is Titanfall 2's multiplayer even like? Well, that's a rather difficult question to answer, but the recently posted trailer for the upcoming Angel City map should at the very least give you an idea of what sort of madness is possible. Have a look:
