Star Wars Battlefront 2 screenshot of space combat

Ever since Battlefront 2 was revealed during this year's E3 the gameplay trailers and previews were all pretty much focused on the ground combat and overall story. A real shame since some of Star Wars' most iconic and downright awesome moments happened in the depths of space, surrounded by hundreds upon hundreds of clashing ships.

Thankfully that streak has now been broken, so if you're as much of a fan of space combat as I am, you'll be glad to hear that the most recent gameplay trailer focuses exactly on that. Its unfortunately not very long, but it sure is flashy! Have a look:

[Update]: BioWare is working on a new Mass Effect game and Remastering the original trilogy!

Mass Effect: Andromeda launched with a wide variety of problems that quickly gave rise to an equally vast amounts of complaints from critics and players alike. While the developers did try to fix some of the most egregious issues, there was simply no way to get around the stilted animations and atrocious writing. A real shame since the original Mass Effect trilogy was such a joy to play, despite the somewhat disappointing ending.

Speaking of disappointment, I'm saddened to say that Mass Effect: Andromeda has just managed to reach rock bottom. According to the most recent announcement Mass Effect: Andromeda will be getting no more singleplayer updates or additional story content, even though there are gigantic cliffhangers and nasty bugs present all throughout the game. For those of you interested in finding out what happened with the Quarian Ark or other such unresolved mysteries, I'm afraid you're going to have to shuffle through the upcoming comics and novels to get any sort of closure.

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time battle screenshot

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is a 3D action-RPG with some beat'em up elements thrown in just for good measure. While it will feature a lot of the same characters from the series The Chamber of Time will be its own self-contained storyline, so according to Bandai Namco it should be welcoming to both new players and seasoned fans alike.

If you're wondering whether that's the case, or what the standalone narrative is going to be all about, you might want to check out the recently posted "Life at Luna Lova" story trailer. Have a look, its surprisingly faithful to the show:

Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition screenshot of the Kislev team and their bear

For those of you that might not be aware, Blood Bowl 2 is essentially an insane combination of American football and Warhammer brutality. What this means in gameplay terms is that each match features about as many murders and dismemberments as it does touchdowns, though with half the 'athletes' being bloodthirsty Orks and Chaos abominations this really shouldn't come as too big of a surprise.

After already releasing a variety of DLC factions, Blood Bowl 2 developers have now announced not only a brand new expansion, but also a new Legendary Edition that will come with absolutely all of the content neatly bundled. If you need a quick overview of what exactly that content even is, you'll find what you seek in the most recent developer video. Have a look:

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier official artwork

With the modern Planet of the Apes movies becoming more and more popular it was only a matter of time before someone decided to make a tie-in game. Thankfully, instead of a dreadfully generic third-person action game the newly announced Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is a Telltale-esque adventure that seems to be quite faithful to the source material.

Since trying to explain these types of games through words alone is not the easiest of tasks, allow me to share with you the recently posted gameplay video. Its decently lengthy, and with pretty much all of the gameplay mechanics on display it should give you a good idea of whether Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is something you'd be interested in. Starcraft 2 screenshot of a Dark Templar

While Starcraft 2's balance is currently in a fairly nice place, there is a bit of a problem with certain tactics and units being far superior than their counterparts which tends makes matches predictable, and consequently boring for the average player. In an effort to fix this, and also make Starcraft 2 much more exciting to play, Blizzard has just announced a variety of massive balance changes and unit reworks.

The amount of minerals present in each base has been slightly increased in order to give players the ability to mount a comeback, numerous units and abilities have been completely redesigned, the obnoxious Widow Mines have been made easier to clean up when unattended, the Protoss Mothership Core has been entirely removed, and the list goes on for quite a while. There are simply far too many changes for me to summarize, so if you're interested in all of the details you should head over to the Starcraft 2 website.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet official artwork without logo

Given the continuous popularity of the show it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that Bandai Namco has now announced a brand new third-person shooter RPG based on Sword Art Online. More specifically, the newly revealed Fatal Bullet will be based on the "Gun Gale Online" chapter and will feature many of the most iconic locations from the show.

If you're wondering how all of this is going to transition into actual gameplay, wonder no more as Bandai Namco has also released a brief trailer showcasing both the visuals and gameplay. Have a look:

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider screenshot of a new crystal enemy

In Dishonored: Death of the Outsider we will be taking on the role of the rather intriguing Billie Lurk as she reunites with her mentor Daud in an effort to plan out the most ambitious assassination the world has ever seen. As you might guess from the name alone, we will be attempting to take down the nearly godlike Outsider in order to stop all of the cults and magical nonsense from wreaking chaos across the world.

Killing a god, however, is not exactly an easy task, especially when he's also the source of most of your powers. So if you're wondering what tricks Billie and Daud have tucked away in their sleeves, as well as what sort of enemies we'll get to fight and what locations we'll get to visit, you'll find some of the answers you seek in the most recent gameplay trailer down below. Doomfist official screenshot from Overwatch

While I don't think Doomfist is as overpowered as some people say, the current hitbox for Rocket Punch is beyond ridiculous. Its so large that you can smash enemies into walls without being able to see them at all, sometimes even bending the laws of time and space and hitting people behind corners!

As such, I am very glad to say that Blizzard has now finally reduced the hitbox to a more realistic and balanced level. The change will come to the live servers alongside the Deathmatch update, but if you would like to test its impact you can do so right now by heading over to the PTR. If you can't be bothered to go to the PTR just to test one tiny little change, however, you'll find a rather good comparison over at the official subreddit, though I would still recommend you give the PTR a spin as the new Deathmatch mode is amazing!

Crackdown 3 official artwork and logo

After being announced back in 2014, the open-world action-adventure Crackdown 3 has been delayed over and over again. While I wish I could tell you that the trend has now finally reversed itself and that Crackdown 3 will be arriving later this year as expected, I'm afraid that it has been delayed yet again.

Crackdown 3 was set to release alongside the Xbox One X this November 7th, but according to a Polygon interview with Microsoft Studios Publishing boss Shannon Loftis the release date has been pushed back to a rather ambiguous "spring 2018". As you might imagine, the delay has been made in order to ensure that Crackdown 3 releases as polished as it can possibly be. Here's the full quote:
