While Total War: Warhammer 2's campaign map will only be slightly larger than the original's, it will cover a lot more of the Warhammer world. Instead of everything being close together on one continent, Total War: Warhammer 2 will be spreading out the action across the High Elf island of Ulthuan, the Dark Elf controlled Naggaroth, the lush jungles of Lustria, and the even the rather enigmatic Southlands.

Creative Assembly has already given us a detailed overview of the Vortex campaign map, but they have never shown us what it looks like from the ground. As such, I am very glad to say that they have now released a brief teaser trailer showing off some of the most visually impressive locations from the New World. Have a look:

To explore things further I'm afraid you'll have to wait until Total War: Warhammer 2 finally arrives, but on the positive side you at least won't have to wait for very long as the release date is set for September 28th! To learn more, or just check out some of the other preview videos, you should head over to the official website.

On a somewhat different note, if you're interested in finding out how exactly the campaign will play, you might want to give the recent High Elf campaign preview video a look. It not only highlights the High Elf campaign mechanics and their uses, but it also gives us a really good glimpse at how the whole Vortex Ritual thing will even work. Enjoy!
