[Update #2]: Jill Valentine will be heading over to Resident Evil Resistance on April 17, 2020.

[Update]: Resident Evil 3 and its companion Resident Evil 3 Resistance have been released, though sadly they don't seem to have lived up to the high standards set by Resident Evil 2.

Resident Evil Resistance is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits a group of four survivors against an evil mastermind that needs to destroy them through the use of nasty traps and classic Resident Evil enemies. It was supposed to go into open beta on March 27th, but unfortunately the servers ran into some technical issues and the whole thing needed to be delayed.

The problems have now finally been sorted out, and as such the open beta is now fully live on PC as well. If you would like to participate, all you need to do is head on over to Steam, download yourself a copy of the beta, and you'll be running around zombies like a madman in no time.

Unfortunately, due to the above-mentioned delay, the beta will not be around for very long. As such, you might want to get as much playtime in as you can before the servers close at 7am UTC on April 3rd. Still, it should be enough time to give you a pretty good idea of just what Resident Evil Resistance is really all about, and if it's even the type of game you'd enjoy for more than a couple of matches.

Have fun, and if you're interested in learning a little bit more about either Resident Evil Resistance or its companion Resident Evil 3, you should pay a visit to the official website.
