Halo: Reach one of the official screenshots

After quite a few teasers, the PC version of Halo: Reach has now finally made its way into Closed Beta and is now actually playable by the general public. The bad news, as you might imagine given the early beta status, is that this initial public test will only have a very small amount of players involved.

On the positive side, the developers have now also released a lengthy gameplay preview showing off what Halo: Reach looks like on PC with maxed out settings! Have a look, it's certainly a fun video:

While not related to the Halo: Reach preview, it's also worth mentioning that the developers have announced that Forged maps made in previous Halo games will be fully transferable into the Master Chief Collection on both PC and Xbox One. However, due to the complexity of the process, this will only be a one-time thing. As such, once the transfer window opens up, make sure to snatch the opportunity as soon as possible!

You can read a little bit more about this process, as well as the team's progress on the Master Chief Collection, over at the official website.
