Dead by Daylight screenshot of Freddy from the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" themed DLC

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer horror game where one player gets to mess around as a monstrous killer, while four others have to try their very best to not become a colorful stain on the living room floor. After already adding a couple of classic horror characters such as Leatherface, the developers have now taken things to the next level by creating an entire DLC themed around "A Nightmare on Elm Street".

As you might imagine, the DLC allows you to hunt down the pesky survivors as Freddy Krueger himself. In order to do so you can pull survivors into the dream world where your power is the strongest, so if they don't manage to wake themselves up or find someone else to do it for them, their journey is going to meet a very sharp and bloody end. And if that wasn't horrifying enough, grabbing one survivor closes the exit gates for everyone, meaning the survivors will have to come and try to save their friend before they can actually leave. Not the most pleasant of situations.

Besides Freddy himself, this DLC also brings with it a brand new survivor in the form of Quentin Smith, as well as a new map set in Bedham Preschool. As for Quentin, he has a knack for finding medicine and watching over his friends in even the most dire of situations, which means that you and your allies will recover much more quickly from a variety of different effects such as Exhausted, Hindered, and so forth. Furthermore, once all generators are powered up the exit gates will be revealed to Quentin if he's within a certain range, which should come as a massive help when you're trying to beeline for the exit as quickly as possible.

You can learn more about the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" DLC by heading over to Steam. Just keep in mind that its a little bit imbalanced right now, so if you are planning to get it make sure to handicap Freddy in some way or else you're going to be in for a very short round. And finally, here's the brief teaser trailer:
