Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will have us step into the shoes of Billie Lurk in order to plan and execute the most ambitious assassination the world has ever seen: getting rid of the Outsider! As you might imagine, trying to kill a nearly godlike being is not going to be an easy task by any stretch.
In order to make this even remotely possible Death of the Outsider will be giving us access to a variety of new abilities and gadgets, most of which are noticeably more powerful than the ones that came before them. If you're wondering what exactly they are, and how they should be used, you'll find what you seek in the most recent preview video down below. Have a look, its rather interesting:
Darkest Dungeon developers have just announced a new class - The Shieldbreaker

[Update]: Darkest Dungeon 2 is heading into Early Access on October 26, 2021
Back in June Darkest Dungeon received its very first and very significant piece of DLC - The Crimson Court. The mini-expansion brought with it a new hero class, an entirely new dungeon named The Courtyard, a whole bunch of disgusting new enemies and bosses, as well as a variety of improvements to the Hamlet. Only a little while has passed since The Crimson Court, and it would appear that the Darkest Dungeon developers are already planning to add new content.
As you might guess from the title, the newly announced content is an additional class by the name of The Shieldbreaker. Besides the rather cryptic quote that came with the announcement, "Sever the weakened limb; the protected foe", I'm afraid nothing else has been revealed about The Shieldbreaker just yet.

If you're one of the seven people that have never laid their hands on Skyrim, despite it releasing on just about every platform in existence at this point, you'll be glad to hear that you now have a chance to do just that! For the next two days The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will be completely free to try out on Steam. Simply click that "Play Game" button and you'll be exploring the frozen North in no time.
As for the Special Edition itself, it includes all of the previously released DLCs, as well as new features such as remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, and other such visual improvements. Its not much compared to how significantly mods have altered Skyrim over the years, but for your first playthrough it should do just fine.
Enter the Gungeon's Advanced Gungeons & Draguns update will be coming in the near future
- By Ash
- in News
Enter the Gungeon developers have recently announced that they are working on a second major content update called Advanced Gungeons & Draguns. The mini-expansion will bring with it a bunch of community requested features, quality of life changes and general improvements, but also hundreds of new and substantially more powerful synergies, a variety of new guns and items, as well as a brand new boss.
The goal behind this update is to make the Gungeon a more generous place, while still preserving the same sort of punishing difficulty. In other words, the enemies will be just as powerful as they ever were, but you will a much greater degree of choice when it comes to viable weapons and tactics. This should hopefully prevent scenarios where you get stuck with an array of nearly worthless weapons against enemies that can easily bring you down.
Divinity: Original Sin 2's recent gameplay trailer gives a brief overview of the major features

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an upcoming turn-based RPG with the focus firmly placed on combat. There are a variety of elemental combos to preform, each with their own unsurprisingly devastating result, as well as a whole bunch of different spells and abilities to toy around with. Add to that 4-player co-op and you can easily see why Original Sin 2 currently has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam despite still being in Early Access.
Since trying to describe gigantic fireballs through words alone is a bit of a silly venture, allow me to instead share with you one of the recent trailers. Its not very long, but it should give you a pretty damn good overview of what Divinity: Original Sin 2 brings to the table. Have a look:
Obsidian's Tyranny has now received its very first expansion - Bastard's Wound

I've mentioned this multiple times since my initial review for Tyranny, but the campaign ended in such an anticlimactic way that it was practically guaranteed Obsidian was planning to do an expansion or sequel of some sort. After quite a long wait the expansion has now finally arrived, hopefully bringing with it enough new story content to give the ending a proper conclusion.
I haven't played it myself, but according to Obsidian you can expect to see new companion quests and storylines involving Verse, Barik, and Lantry, a whole bunch of new features and expanded content for Tyranny's solely lacking end-game, and naturally, a brand new region to explore and potentially devastate. If you're wondering what all of this might look like in game, here's the recently posted launch trailer:
You have 5 more days to grab the "Humble Jumbo Bundle 9" starring Vermintide and Samorost 3

If your backlog is looking a bit empty, but you don't feel like spending a lot of money in order to fill it, I would highly recommend you check out the Humble Jumbo Bundle 9 before it goes away. The bundle features a variety of interesting games, the majority of which have great reviews on Steam, though I would say that Samorost 3 and Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide are worth the price of admission alone.
So if your interest is slightly piqued and you're now wondering what the bundle has to offer, allow me to share with you the list of games and the tier they appear in. Have a look:
