Overwatch devs have released an extended preview of the upcoming Payload map Junkertown
- By Ash
- in News
After its existence has been leaked many, many months ago, the Australian Payload map Junkertown will soon finally be making its way to Overwatch. To be more specific, you can expect to see Junkertown in all of its 'glory' on September 19th, most likely alongside a patch featuring the highly divisive D.Va and Mercy reworks.
Balance changes aside, if you're wondering what Junkertown is all about, and how Blizzard even came to design it, you should definitely check out the recently posted preview video down below. Its a bit on the lengthy side, but I feel its still well worth a watch given how much behind-the-scenes commentary it contains. Anyway, Have a look:
Star Wars Battlefront's Season Pass is now entirely free on PC and consoles

One of the biggest problems most people had with Star Wars Battlefront was the lack of content, something that was only really fixed through the rather pricey Season Pass. As such, I am very glad to say that the Season Pass is now entirely free for all platforms! If you're on the PC, simply head over to Origin and you'll be messing around with the new heroes and maps in no time.
Do bear in mind, however, that this promotion will only be available for a limited time. How long that will be exactly, I'm afraid I don't know, but all of the previous offers were around for quite a while. I would still recommend you grab the Season Pass as soon as possible given that you don't even need to install it, you just need to click on it once and it will be yours forever.

[Update]: Iron Harvest now has a free demo available, though only until June 22, 2020.
Iron Harvest is an upcoming real-time strategy game set in an alternate history version of the 1920s. While the battles still primarily consist of infantry supported with artillery and heavy weapons, there are also highly-maneuverable battle-mechs, walking bunkers, sword-wielding robots, as well as a variety of other crazy, yet incredibly impressive technology.
Since this is one of those games you simply need to see in order to understand, allow me to share with you the recently posted teaser trailer. It doesn't feature much in terms of gameplay, but it should be enough to give you a good idea of just what kind of RTS Iron Harvest truly is. Have a look:

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an upcoming turn-based RPG with a heavy focus on combat. It features a variety of elemental combos with highly explosive results, a whole bunch of different spells and abilities to mess around with, and naturally, multiple unique classes to pick and choose from.
Ideally you will want to play Divinity: Original Sin 2 in four player co-op as that would give you the best experience possible, but if you don't have enough friends interested in RPGs, worry not as there will be plenty of NPC followers to help you along on your journey. Since choosing which companions to bring with you on your very first playthrough is an immensely important decision, you might be glad to hear that the developers have now released a whole bunch of brief trailers showcasing their personalities and goals. The PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana has been delayed until further notice
- By Ash
- in News
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was supposed to arrive on PC today, but I'm afraid that's not going to be happening. According to a recent developer update, Ys VIII has been delayed until further notice in order to improve gameplay quality and to enhance the overall experience.
The announcement message has not provided any details, but a game being delayed so suddenly on the eve of its release is usually an indicator of something going terribly, terribly wrong. On the positive side, it does also mean that the developers truly care about making a quality PC port as I cannot imagine this decision being made lightly. The new release date will be announced as soon as its available, but for now we're sadly stuck in the dark.
PUBG's September update is adding foggy weather, a new town, and a new marksman rifle

- in News
After quite a few complaints about untested features and buggy patches, PUBG developers have recently announced that they will be slowing down the pace of updates in order to increase their quality. Whether that's going to end up being the case, we'll find out soon enough as the September update is now being pushed onto the test servers.
The highlights of the update include foggy weather that significantly hinders the player's sight, a brand new town located East of Stalber, as well as a lightweight and compact 5.56 semi-automatic rifle by the name of Mini-14. Besides the bits of new content, the update will also bring with it some noticeable improvements for low-end PCs, as well as various bug fixes. If you're interested in all of the details you will find the full patch notes on Steam.
