Numantia is a turn-based strategy game that closely follows a historical conflict

Numantia is a historical turn-based strategy game that depicts the real-life conflict between the Republic of Rome and the rebellious Celtiberians of Numantia during 154 BC. In gameplay terms this means you'll have access to two different campaigns, each of which brings their own heroes, troops, settlements, armies, and decisions to make.
You can get a good look at what all of this entails through one of the most recent trailers. The video unfortunately doesn't let any single scene play out for more than a couple of seconds, but its still well worth a glance if you're interested in historical strategy games. Have a look:

With the Overwatch Wold Cup set to continue in the near future, I am very glad to say that Blizzard has now announced some much-needed improvements to the spectating system, tournament mode, and overall interface. All teams will come with unique in-game uniforms (with 'home' and 'away' variants), the spectating camera will be greatly improved, broadcasters will be able to create instant replays mid-broadcast, tournaments will automatically pause when players disconnect, and the list goes on for quite a while.
If you're interested in all of the details you'll find the most recent Developer Update right below. That said, its important to mention that this Developer Update is all about esports, so if you were hoping to hear something about the upcoming Mercy changes I'm afraid you're out of luck. Anyway, here's the video:
The remastered version of L.A. Noire now has a new trailer showing off the improved 4K visuals
- By Ash
- in News
Rockstar recently announced that a remastered version of L.A. Noire will be coming to modern consoles with a variety of audio and visual enhancements, including things such as 4K support for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. While the PC version was not mentioned in the original announcement, chances are these improvements will also be heading our way somewhere down the line.
As you'll see in the most recent trailer, the graphical improvements aren't exactly massive, so hopefully the remaster will bring with it better performance and loading times as well. But enough babbling from me. You'll find the video right below, just make sure to go full screen on a 4K enabled monitor to get the best viewing experience. Have a look:

- By Ash
- in News
Guns of Icarus Online is a steampunk airship combat game with a heavy focus on cooperation. In other words, you and your fellow teammates will each have to take on a certain role (Captain, Gunner, or Engineer), and then try to bring down enemy ships through a combination of teamwork, tactics, and trickery... or just fall out of the sky because your Engineer decided to take a coffee break.
If this sort of multiplayer madness sounds like something you would love to toy around with, you'll be glad to hear that Guns of Icarus Online is free to grab for the next two days. Simply head on over to the Humble Store, grab your Steam key, and you'll be playing in no time. If you need a bit more information, however, allow me to share with you the original launch trailer. AER is a colorful open-world exploration game set on a planet filled with a variety of floating islands and strange creatures. There are absolutely no enemies to fight or gear to collect - its just you, your ability to transform into a bird at will, and a whole bunch of secrets, puzzles, and story clues to discover.
Since trying to explain these types of games through words alone is mostly a pointless task, allow me to share with you the recent launch trailer. It should give you a pretty damn good idea of just what to expect from AER. Have a look, its quite a relaxing video:

If you've somehow managed to avoid all of the various sales this month and you're looking to fill out your backlog, you're in luck as GOG's annual Halloween Sale has now begun. The special 'gimmick' this time around is that if you spend $15 or more you will get Tales from the Borderlands for free, which is actually a pretty damn amazing gift since Tales from the Borderlands is a remarkably charming adventure game.
For those of you that aren't exactly sure what to grab throughout the sale, allow me give you a brief list of games I would definitely buy again if I didn't already own them. That said, I'm primarily going to be focusing on the depth of the discount, so while there are some awesome high-priced games out there, I'll try and ignore them in favor of older, cheaper, and just as good ones. Anyway, here's the list:
