Boss Key, Cliff Bleszinski's studio behind Radical Heights and LawBreakers, has now shut down

Boss Key Productions has not been in a good spot for a very long time now. LawBreakers failed to make any sort of impact, and while the newly released Radical Heights has a fairly decent playerbase, it would appear that it is nowhere near enough to support a fully staffed studio. As such, I am afraid that Boss Key Productions is now shutting down.
"Four years ago I set out to make a world class video game studio and I hired some of the best talent in the videogame industry. They worked tirelessly to produce a quality product and, while we had our ups and downs, I'd like to think we had fun doing it," said Cliff Bleszinski in a brief announcement on Twitter. "LawBreakers was a great game that unfortunately failed to gain traction, and, in a last ditch attempt we scrambled to do our take on the huge battle royale genre with Radical Heights which was well received, however, it was too little too late."
Overwatch's Hanzo will soon be getting a damage nerf on his Storm Arrows ability
- By Ash
- in News
By all accounts, Hanzo's recent rework has been a massive success. He went from being a hero that most people considered completely useless at best and absolutely infuriating at worst, to one that many now believe to be both meta-defining and highly enjoyable. The only problem is that Hanzo's power level is currently a bit too high, which is why I'm glad to say that Blizzard is now looking to nerf his Storm Arrows ability.
"We’re reducing the damage per arrow from 80 to 70, which not only drops them out of one-shot territory for 200 hp heroes (w/ dmg boost), but also drops them out of one-shot range of 150 heroes such as Tracer and D.Va pilot," reads the brief announcement. "The ability will still be very strong overall, but this change should help mitigate the most frustrating element of fighting against it. We’re looking at getting this change up onto the PTR soon."

[Update #2]: Conan Exiles' huge Update 3.0 has added corrupted magic, revamped perks and brought in a Battle Pass.
[Update]: Conan Exiles has now added mounts, lances and mounted combat!
After a rather fruitful stay in Early Access, Conan Exiles has now released in full on both PC and consoles alongside a rather hefty new update. There's now a brand new action-orientated combat system, two massive and varied zones to explore, new monsters and invasions to fend off, new gods to worship and unleash upon your enemies, new dungeons to plunder, new crafting recipes, and the list goes on for a while.
You can find the full list of changes and additions over at the official website, but if you're curious about what all of this might look like in-game, allow me to share with you the recently posted and rather lengthy launch trailer. Have a gander:
Hearthstone devs have detailed the upcoming nerfs to Warlock, Paladin and Quest Rogue
- By Ash
- in News
Hearthstone is currently having a bit of a balance problem in both its Standard and Wild formats. On one hand you have Standard mode which is littered with all sorts of aggressive Paladins, mana-cheating Warlocks and decks relying entirely on Spiteful Summoner, while on the Wild side you have all of that plus decks based around abusing Naga Sea Witch in order to fill the board with 8/8 giants. As such, I am very pleased to announce that salvation is almost at hand!
The newly revealed balance update will be arriving after the HTC playoffs (so after May 20th), bringing with it some much-needed nerfs to pretty much all of the problematic cards. The list is fairly short and sweet, so without further delay, here's what's being adjusted:
Bethesda has finally announced Rage 2 alongside a completely over-the-top gameplay trailer
- By Ash
- in News
After being accidentally leaked and then teased for quite a while now, Bethesda has finally come out with an official announcement for Rage 2. As you might expect given the original Rage, it's going to be a first-person shooter set in the dystopian future, though what you might not expect is that Rage 2 is going to be all about fast-paced, colorful and completely over-the-top action. In many ways it feels like a sequel to Bulletstorm than Rage, but you certainly won't hear me complain about that!
Since trying to explain all of this through words alone is a bit of a wasted effort, allow me to share with you the recently posted gameplay trailer. It's fairly brief, but it'll give you a pretty darn good idea of what to expect from Rage 2. Have a look, the video is quite something:
Vermintide 2 is getting a massive patch this week, with cosmetics and mod support coming soon after

[Update]: Patch 1.0.8 has now arrived to the live servers. You can find out more by heading over here.
While Vermintide 2 is a highly enjoyable game, and one that I'm still playing to this very day, it is also riddled with so many bugs its sometimes difficult to appreciate all of the good parts. With that in mind, I am very glad to say that Vermintide 2's massive bugfixing patch 1.0.8 will be leaving the test servers and fully releasing at some point this week, most likely on Thursday.
There are far too many details to cover in brief, so if you're interested in the full patch notes you should head on over to Steam. What I will highlight, however, is that every single map has been reworked in order to prevent enemies from attacking through terrain - a change that should go a long way towards making Vermintide 2's harder difficulties a lot more fair and a lot less frustrating! The only downside is that this massive update is truly massive, by which I mean it's around 20GB in size, so do be prepared for a bit of a wait once the patch actually goes live.
The action-RPG Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time has now arrived for PC and PS4

After being available in the East for quite a few months now, the action-RPG Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time has finally made its way to the West via PC and PS4 as well. While it is quite clearly made for fans of the show, it is worth mentioning that Chamber of Time has its own self-contained storyline and detailed character introductions, so you should be able to play it even if you're not super-familiar with the show.
Since a lot of Chamber of Time's strengths rely on exactly this connection to the show and its characters, allow me to showcase that by sharing with you the recently posted launch trailer. It'll give you a pretty good idea of how closely Chamber of Time emulates the show, as well as what the actual gameplay is all about. Have a look:
