PC players of Monster Hunter: World can now finally fight both Lunastra and Arch-tempered Kirin

During the first two months the release of new content for the PC version of Monster Hunter: World was a little bit slow, but thankfully it appears that Capcom has now decided to bring in new monsters a lot more swiftly. Just recently we have received the golden-scaled Kulve Taroth as a challenging boss to fight, and now we have two additional monsters to square off against: Teostra's mate Lunastra, as well as the immensely dangerous Arch-tempered Kirin.
If you're planning to go after Lunastra, you'll be able to use her materials in order to craft new weapons, a unique armor set, as well as a new Palico armor. On the other hand, if hunting down Kirin is more up your alley, you will be able to use its parts to create a brand new set of armor, as well as the cosmetic "Blossom Layered Armor". And in order to make all of this just slightly easier, you are now also able to acquire a new specialized tool - the Temporal Mantle that protects you from powerful attacks by automatically dodging.
Prodeus is a newly announced first-person shooter that's heavily inspired by the oldschool Doom

Given Doom's significance and the success of its modern reboot, it was only a matter of time before we saw another wave of Doom-inspired shooters. As you might imagine from that description alone, Prodeus is a retro-styled FPS with a focus on fast paced action, brutal combat encounters, a variety of over-the-top weaponry, and naturally, levels jam-packed with secrets to uncover.
Since a lot of the appeal comes from the visuals and atmosphere, allow me to share with you the recently posted reveal trailer. It's not exactly lengthy, but it'll give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from Prodeus:
Ubisoft will be reverting all of the Rainbow Six Siege aesthetic changes after heaps of negative feedback

Ubisoft is currently working on expanding Rainbow Six Siege into various Asian countries, and in order to make the whole process easier for them they recently announced that they will be censoring skulls, gambling machines and blood for all versions. As you might imagine, this did not exactly go over well with the western Rainbow Six Siege community as not only were the changes silly, but some of them had actual gameplay impact as entire environmental pieces were removed.
Thankfully, after quite a few days of negative feedback, Ubisoft has now announced that they will be reverting all of the aesthetic changes. This also includes players in the Asia region, so as of the Wind Bastion update everyone will be playing on the same version. Chances are there will be some changes going forward, especially as Rainbow Six Siege establishes itself in China, but luckily it doesn't look like any of these tweaks will affect the other regions.
Darksiders 3's latest trailer is a surprisingly sentimental video about Fury's horse Rampage

Darksiders 3 is set to arrive this November 27th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, bringing with it numerous enemies to smash over the head with ridiculous weapons, a variety of loot to collect and play dress-up with, and naturally, a fairly large world to explore. Given that Fury is also one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to hear that much like her brothers, she will be accompanied on her journey by her trusty steed Rampage.
What you might not expect, especially not from characters named Fury and Rampage, is that the trailer showcasing them together is actually quite sentimental. Have a look, it's certainly an interesting video:
Banjo-Kazooie's spiritual successor Yooka-Laylee has now managed to sell over one million copies

Despite having immense popularity during the earlier console generations, collect-a-thons have unfortunately become nearly extinct these past few years. The situation is thankfully improving nowadays, what with Yooka-Laylee and A Hat in Time both managing to find a decent amount of success and a fairly wide audience.
Perhaps decent is a bit of an understatement here given that Yooka-Laylee developer Playtonic has now announced that their bat & lizard combo has managed to sell over one million copies! They didn't go into any detail about where most of the sales have come from, but given that Yooka-Laylee is available across all major platforms, I think it's fair to say that all of them must've contributed a fair chunk.
Dota 2's latest Update 7.20 has brought in a veritable treasure trove of balance changes

If you haven't played Dota 2 in a while, you might want to come back and check out the newly released Update 7.20. As is tradition with all of the major Dota 2 patches, this one has brought in a veritable treasure trove of changes to both the core gameplay mechanics and the heroes themselves.
There are far too many balance tweaks for me to cover in brief, so if you're interested in losing around 30 minutes while frequently muttering "well, now that's interesting," you should head on over to the official website. What I will share, however, is a couple of highlights from the more general changes. It's not going to give you the whole picture, but it'll at least give you an idea of just how vast this update is. Have a gander:
Total War: Arena will be closing down its doors on February 22nd

Total War: Arena is a multiplayer, free-to-play spin-off of the classic Total War series where players control only a couple of elite units each, and then through teamwork and strategy attempt to overpower the opposing team. An interesting concept to be sure, but for me it just never really scratched that Total War itch like some of the mainline games did.
Unfortunately for Total War: Arena, it would appear that this sentiment was quite common given that the developers have now announced that the Open Beta simply didn't meet their expectations, and as such they will be closing down its doors for good. Total War: Arena will be available until February 22nd, however, so if you ever wanted to give it a try or just play it to until you can see its loading screens in your sleep, you still have plenty of time.
