World of Warcraft's next update will put a stop to level-boosting

[Update]: Blizzard has clarified that the experience reduction will not kick in when queuing for random dungeons or battlegrounds.
If you've taken even a single glance at World of Warcraft's trade chat, chances are you're well aware that the there are quite a few people offering level-boosting services. While their methods and characters may differ, usually this is done by taking a ridiculously geared level 110 character into a Battle for Azeroth dungeon or Island Expedition, and then using the somewhat broken scaling system to decimate the place within minutes, all the while providing heaps of experience for everyone in the party.
However, once the 8.2 update rolls around, this will no longer be possible. According to the recent PTR changes, anyone who chooses to put a pause to their experience gains will also reduce the experience received by everyone in their group by 95%!

[Update #2]: Overwatch is getting its very own novel starring Orisa and Efi - The Hero of Numbani.
[Update]: Blizzard has now released a Mercy short story alongside her very own challenge skin.
After what feels like an eternity of waiting, Blizzard has now once again released some juicy Overwatch lore. Without going into too much detail, the "What you left behind" short story explores Baptiste's ties to Talon, the reason he left the organization, as well as teases what might just be a brand new tank hero!
You can find the full short story over at the official website, and if you're a fan of Overwatch lore, I would highly recommend you give it a read as it's actually a pretty fun one. Also, you might want to check out the skin teaser at the very bottom as that's what we're getting in the near future!
Apex Legends devs have updated the list of bugs and issues they're currently working on fixing

[Update]: Respawn has now released an official Trello Tracker detailing what bugs they're currently working on fixing.
Apex Legends has recently received a fairly sizable bug-fixing update, but there are still quite a few of the little buggers that need to be squashed. Thankfully, Respawn does appear to be on the case as they have just released an updated list of the bugs and gameplay problems they're currently working on.
The first and most important thing to mention is that they are now finally investigating Pathfinder's often problematic hitbox. Whether they're going to change the hitbox itself or tweak some of the behind-the-scene properties to make it behave less erratically, nobody currently knows, but I'm certainly looking forward to the day where bullets don't simply pass through Pathfinder's chest as if he's ghost!

World of Warcraft's next expansion will most likely introduce a 'level squish'
- By Ash
- in News
A few months ago Blizzard revealed that they are internally discussing the idea of a 'level squish' - to reduce the current 120 levels to something a bit more manageable and lot less intimidating to new players. While nothing has been officially announced just yet, it would appear that Blizzard has indeed opted to do introduce a level squish and that it will be arriving alongside the next expansion.
This information comes to us from the most recent survey that featured this rather interesting question: "Are you aware the maximum level of 120 will be reduced in the future (i.e., "level squish")? I'd say that's about as close to an official confirmation as we're going to get for a while!

[Update]: Dota Underlords has entered Open Beta and can now be played on both PC and mobile for free.
In a stark departure from their usually glacial speed, after a small leak Valve has recently come out to officially announce their Dota Auto Chess variant - Dota Underlords. Even more surprisingly, they have now straight up released the entire game for owners of Dota 2's The International 2019 Battle Pass!
However, if you don't play Dota 2 and you don't feel like purchasing anything just yet, there is no need to worry as the Open Beta will be coming in the near future. No official release date has been announced as of right now, but according to the announcement it's likely to arrive at some point next week.
