Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus expansion has brought in new levels and weapons

If you've completed everything Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus has to offer and you're itching for more, you might be interested to hear that its very first expansion Heretek has now arrived. However, while there is a good chunk of new content to toy around with, it is worth mentioning that the Heretek expansion is more similar to a DLC in scope.
As far as the new content is concerned, the Heretek expansion has brought with it a new Discipline that specializes in using alien technology, as well as two new alien weapons to really bring down the hurt upon your enemies. There's also two new troops to command, Sicarian Infiltrators and Ruststalkers, as well as five new missions set in the freshly introduced Ark Mechanicus environment.
Over-the-top VR fighting game GORN has now finally released from Steam Early Access
- By Ash
- in Indie Games
GORN, as you might imagine from its name alone, is a ridiculously over-the-top and brutal VR game about gladiatorial combat. To put it even more simply, it's all about taking a variety of weapons that liter the arena, and then using said weapons to bludgeon or slice your way through hordes of enemies!
If that sounds like the sort of nonsense you might enjoy, you'll be glad to hear that GORN has now finally released from Steam Early Access. Here's what you can expect to see from the release version:
Hearthstone's Saviors of Uldum expansion is set to arrive this August 6th

August is nearly upon us, and as you might be well aware give the roadmap Blizzard released a while back, this means that Hearhstone will soon be getting a brand new expansion - Saviors of Uldum! Expect to see 135 new cards, the reintroduction of the quest mechanic, plenty of plagues and mummies to toy around with, as well as a brand new Reborn key that causes a minion to be brought back to life with one health when killed.
It also shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that Blizzard has released a charming and rather catchy musical trailer to celebrate Saviors of Uldum's imminent launch. Have a gander, it really is a fun one:
Fallout inspired RPG UnderRail has just received a massive new expansion - Expedition

[Update]: Four years after Expedition, UnderRail has just received a new DLC - Heavy Duty!
UnderRail is an isometric, turn-based CRPG heavily inspired by the first two Fallout games. Much like them, UnderRail is a bit clunky and often brutally difficult to the unprepared, but those that manage to preserve will find a deep and captivating experience. It's certainly not for everyone, but well worth the trouble if you're in its target audience.
With that little bit of disclaimer now out of the way, I'm glad to say that UnderRail has just been beefed up with a brand new expansion - Expedition. There's a massive new storyline to experience, a whole bunch of new traits and weapons to toy around with, around 200 new areas to constantly get lost in, and naturally, a boatload of new items to hoard.
Overwatch is soon getting a brand new shield-based Main Tank called Sigma
- By Ash

[Update]: Overwatch's newest main tank Sigma has now arrived alongside the long-awaited Role Queue!
These are certainly exciting times for Overwatch. Not only has Blizzard recently added replays, workshop modding tools and a whole bunch of balance changes, but they are getting ready to also introduce 2/2/2 locked Role Queue and even a brand new hero!
The hero in question is Sigma, a highly skill-based tank with a quickly deployable shield and an ultimate that lifts enemies into the air for a few seconds, only to then slam them into the floor for 50% of their max health. A devastating move, though thankfully Sigma doesn't seem to charge it all that frequently.
Video game spin-off of the popular board game Gloomhaven has now landed onto Steam

[Update]: Gloomhaven will be launching from Early Access on October 20, 2021!
After being briefly teased a few weeks ago, the video game adaptation of the popular board game Gloomhaven has now finally made its way to Steam Early Access. That said, while the Gloomhaven game features many of the same themes and mechanics as the board game, it is a bit of a different beast entirely.
Most notably, despite the Gloomhaven board game being heavily co-op focused, the newly released Gloomhaven game is currently singleplayer only. There will be co-op added at some point later on, but so far the experience is wholly focused on highly replayable singleplayer content.
Earth Defense Force 5 Review (PC version) - Glorious Nonsense

- in Reviews
Earth Defense Force 5, much like the rest of the series, is an interesting anomaly. With mediocre visuals, obtuse mechanics and terrible voice acting, one would think that Earth Defense Force 5 would be unplayably bad, yet the truth is actually quite the opposite. It is so unapologetic with its premise, so completely over-the-top with its action, that it manages to successfully transform some of its worst problems into the main attractions!
So if you're wondering just what Earth Defense Force 5 has to offer, as well as what sort of genuine problems it might have, allow me to share my thoughts now that I've spend a weekend blasting apart giant spiders and punching Godzilla in the face.
