Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, the premier co-op rat-slaying simulator set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, is set to become even bigger in the near future. But instead of fighting in an Imperial city and its surroundings, the action in the upcoming Karak Azgaraz DLC will be set in a gigantic Dwarven fortress that is currently suffering a bit of a Skaven infestation.

In gameplay terms this means you'll have three new maps to explore, each one with a variety of objectives to complete and areas to litter with Skaven bodies, as well as two new weapons to clobber the enemy with: the Dwarf Ranger's Warpick, and the the Witch Hunter's Falchion.

If you're interested in the release date for Karak Azgaraz, I'm afraid there simply isn't one available just yet, but what I can tell you is that it will set you back €9/$9 once it finally does release. On the other hand, if you would like to give it a try while its still in an early beta state, you can head over to the official website and sign up for the open beta. It might be a bit buggy, but you'll get to preview the DLC before everyone else, and more importantly, you will be able to do so for free!

And finally I would love to show you the trailer, but unfortunately its only available on Steam right now, so I simply can't embed it without it autoplaying and annoying the hell of out of you. But what I can do, however, is show you some of the rather lovely images from Karak Azgaraz:
