Torment: Tides of Numenera is an upcoming story-focused RPG heavily inspired by Planescape: Torment. What this means in gameplay terms is that Torment: Tides of Numenera has a massive world filled with interesting characters you can interact with, and even more interesting events you can potentially meddle with.
Its currently in Early Access, but if you would like to give it a try without spending any of your hard earned money, you now have a chance to do so as the developers have released a rather brilliant interactive trailer. The video below will guide you through a single quest and all of the decisions you can make along the way, as well as all of the resolutions you can end up with depending on your choices. So if you're interested in a bit of storytelling, I'd recommend you give it a look:
Even if this looks like something you would absolutely love to play I would recommend you wait until Torment: Tides of Numenera releases on February 28th before giving it a whirl. The reason is that the current beta version suffers from a bunch of annoying, but fixable problems. As such, its probably for the best you let the developers fully finish the game and polish up the combat system before starting your very first, and most important adventure. But if you don't mind such issues and would like to give it a try anyway, I would suggest first giving my review a read, just so you know what you're getting into.
