After a rather successful beta test the Tau Empire has now arrived to Battlefleet Gothic: Armada's growing multiplayer roster. Best of all, everyone who purchased the game within two months from launch will be granted this DLC for free!

If you're a fan of the Tau Empire, or at the very least a fan of gigantic ships and even bigger laser weaponry, you'll be happy to hear that the recently posted trailer has plenty of both on display. Have a look:

As you can probably guess from the trailer alone, the Tau Empire does not fight in close quarters like the Orks and Space Marines. Rather than resort to such primitive tactics the Tau use their advanced technology to tear through their opposition before they even get a chance to close the distance. In terms of weaponry this means that the Tau Empire features a wide variety of upgrades and traits related to Torpedoes and Ordnances, all geared towards taking down enemy ships before they become too much of a problem.
