Okami is an action-adventure quite similar to The Legend of Zelda series, though with a couple of unique twists that really set it apart from the rest of the genre. What I mean by this is that you play as an adorable wolf god with some rather potent powers that can only be unleashed by literally painting them into existence! It sounds quite silly right now, especially if you've never played Okami, but its a surprisingly enjoyable mechanic.

So if you've never laid your hands on Okami, or if you're itching for a version with even prettier visuals, you'll be glad to hear that Okami HD has now been announced. Since a lot of Okami's charm is based on its visuals and atmosphere, I'd recommend you check out the recently posted trailer down below. Have a look:

According to the announcement Okami HD will bring with it support for 4K graphics, widescreen formats, as well as modern resolution. While this is only relevant for fans of the original, its also worth mentioning that the loading screen mini-game will be coming back!

Since this is obviously not a massive rework or update of any kind, you'll also be glad to hear that Okami HD will be available at a fairly reasonable $20 price tag this December 12th. That's pretty much it as far as currently available information goes, so with nothing else to say I'll leave you with a couple of stylish images:
