If you're interested in adding another colorful shooter to your repertoire, you might want to take a look at the upcoming Battlecrew Space Pirates. Its being made by Dontnod 11, a second studio opened by the team behind Life is Strange and the upcoming vampire RPG Vampyr, and it will heavily focus on cheesy humor and Awesomenauts inspired action.
Since trying to explain action games through words alone is a mostly pointless venture, allow me to share with you the announcement trailer. It should give you a good idea of the sort of humor Dontnot is going for, as well as the type of action you can expect to see. Have a look:
As you can probably guess from the title Battlecrew Space Pirates has now entered its closed beta phase, which means its now finally playable for the general public. While the beta may have already started, you still have chance to get an invite by heading over here and following the rather simple instructions. If you're interested I would recommend you do so as soon as possible because this phase of the closed beta will only last until Sunday, January 22nd!
And if you would like to learn a little bit more, about either the closed beta or Battlecrew Space Pirates itself, I would recommend heading over to Steam and browsing through the update section. Good luck with the beta key!
