The Civilization series has always had amazing launch trailers, and even to this very day I cannot watch them without getting goosebumps. If you think you are immune to such frivolous things, just have a look at one of the cinematic trailers for Civilization: Beyond Earth - it is a masterpiece of storytelling given how many emotions you'll go through while watching a 3 minute long video!

With such an impressive legacy behind it, the cinematic trailer for Civilization 6 had a lot to live up to. And while I would love to tell you its the best one yet, in my personal opinion its somewhere around the middle in terms of quality, though don't take that the wrong way - its still beyond impressive for what is essentially a trailer for a strategy game! But enough rambling from me, have a look for yourself:

On a somewhat unrelated note, the pre-load for Civilization 6 has begun, so if you wish to start playing the moment it launches, it would probably be a good idea to start the download right now. The release date is set for October 21st after all, and given that we're currently on the 19th that doesn't really leave you with much time to be lazy.
