It turns out the recent Telltale themed Humble Bundle wasn't just a happy coincidence, but rather a way to get a whole bunch of new players invested into Telltale's adventure game series. The reason this is important is because Telltale just announced not one, not two, but rather three new games! Batman and the Wolf Among Us will be getting a second season, while The Walking Dead will be getting its fourth and final iteration!

The first episode of the second Batman season will be arriving on August 8th with a storyline focused entirely on the Riddler. However, there will be some hits pointing you towards future events involving (you guessed it) the Joker, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled. Since the launch date is so close Telltale has also released a brief teaser trailer for Episode 1: The Enemy Within. Have a look:

If you thought the details surrounding the second Batman season were scarce, I'm afraid it only gets worse from here. The Wolf Among us - Season 2 will be arriving in the latter half of 2018, bringing with it a whole batch of new characters, as well as the return of Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf and Erin Yvette as Snow White. As for The Walking Dead - Season 4, the only thing I can tell you is that it will "give you one last look into Clementine's heart-wrenching tale" at some point in 2018.

While it might not be the most detailed announcement I've ever seen, I'm still incredibly happy that Telltale is not only putting a definite end to The Walking Dead, but also working on the much-requested second season for The Wolf Among Us. Its going to be quite a wait until those two series finally arrive, but at least we'll have the caped crusader to tide us over until then.
