Stukov artwork for Heroes of the Storm

Heroes of the Storm has a bit of an assassin infestation, though its very hard to blame Blizzard for creating them given that they tend to be the most interesting and proactive heroes. In an effort to slightly remedy this problem Blizzard has just announced that the next Heroes of the Storm character will be Stukov, a Zerg support with a rather active playstyle and quite a few intriguing mechanics behind his abilities.

If you're interested in how Stukov works and what exactly makes him stand out from the rest of the already entrenched supports, you'll find what you seek in the recently posted video down below. Even if you don't have enough time to watch the whole video I'd recommend at least checking out his ultimates because they are quite... pushy! Anyway, here's the video:

All numbers and balance considerations aside, Stukov's abilities seem like they are a ton of fun to play around with. This goes doubly so for the stretchy-arm ultimate, which if properly positioned can straight up win you the fight as your enemy's tank or initiator gets to take a vacation all the way back in the their base! I'm not much of a support player when it comes to any sort of MOBA, but this guy right here is exactly the type of hero developers need to introduce in order to get people like me to actually heal.

Other than his abilities I'm afraid I can offer you little else about Stukov. On the positive side, Blizzard has confirmed that he will be coming to the Nexus in the near future, so be prepared for a bit of an infestation in the coming weeks. And finally, allow me to send you off the only way Stukov knows how - with his giant stretchy-arm!
