CarBot Animations, the team that does some of the most amazing fan-animations for Blizzard games, has just released their biggest and grandest project yet - StarCrafts. To put it simply, its a mod that remodels and retextures the entirety of Starcraft 2 into CarBot's specific brand of cartoony wonder.

And when I say the entirety of Starcraft 2, I genuinely mean the entirety of Starcraft 2. I've seen a whole bunch of cosmetic mods during my time, but StarCrafts really takes the cake when it comes to how much effort went into making it reality. Just look at this gameplay trailer, its positively adorable:

If you would like to give the StarCrafts mod a try, the download and installation process is about as easy as it gets. All you need to do is install Starcraft 2 (you can do so for free by heading over here), after which you simply need to go to the Arcade Tab and search for "Star Crafts Mod". That's it, everything else will be handled automatically. Before you do all of this, however, do keep in mind that StarCrafts only works on this one specific map. I'm afraid you won't be able to bring cute little zerglings into ranked matches as that would be too easy to abuse, but even so, you'll still be able to play 'real' Starcraft 2 so its not that big of a deal.
