Star Wars Battlefront will have a free trial on May 4

In celebration of a rather mediocre joke that somehow became immensely popular EA will be offering a free trial for Star Wars Battlefront starting on Star Wars Day, May the fourth (be with you).

If you already own Star Wars Battlefront there's no need to worry about being left out as everyone who logs in on May 4 will receive a free bundle of 4,444 credits, as well as access to a brand new Hutt Contract that gives you the option to purchase bounties and acquire further rewards.

You will be able to grab Star Wars Battlefront for free on May 4 at 11 am PT, and play it for a grand total of four hours, after which you will need to buy it to continue. The only limitation the free version has is that the DLC content is unavailable, but that shouldn't matter very much when you're simply trying to see if the game's worth your time and money.

If you're looking for some other games to try out while you wait for Battlefront to become available, may I suggest Unravel and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. They're both rather interesting games, and since EA is offering a couple of hours of free play time you might as well give them a try, if you're even remotely interested.
