Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is exactly the type of game you would expect given the title: an open world shooter with a heavy focus on stealth and ridiculously long-ranged sniper kills. It released back in May alongside some rather mixed reviews, with the most common complaints being directed towards its technical side and general bugginess.

There have been many patches since then, but even with all of that considered its hard to justify spending $50 on something that may or may not be up your alley. As such, you might be interested to hear that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is now available as a standalone game, completely separated from its Season Pass and consequently about $20 cheaper.

Whether its worth the current $30 price tag, that is a difficult question to answer. As you'll see in my review I don't consider Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 to be a bad game by any stretch, but its definitely one of those I would only buy at a hefty discount. So while I would love to give you some sort of suggestion I'm afraid this decision is entirely up to you and how much you think an average stealth game is worth.

What I can do, however, is show you one of the better gameplay videos the developers released before the launch. Its a ~14 minute showcase of everything you need to keep in mind in order to beat one of the missions on the hardest difficulty, so it should give you a pretty damn good idea of what Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is all about.
