Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 7's Not a Hero DLC

After being slightly delayed due to quality concerns, Resident Evil 7's "Not a Hero" DLC will be arriving this December 12th alongside the Gold Edition. As expected, it will be entirely free for all owners of Resident Evil 7, regardless of the edition or time of purchase.

What I didn't expect, however, was a second DLC detailing the end of Zoe Baker, the girl you quite hilariously left on the pier while you sailed away with your wife. There isn't much information available right now, but what I can tell you is that Zoe ends up being crystallized as punishment for helping you escape, though that doesn't appear to be the titular "End of Zoe" as she seems to get rescued shortly after by a surprisingly friendly family member.

To find out more you'll have to grab the "End of Zoe" DLC this December 12th as a part of the Gold Edition, or as a separate purchase for €15. Personally I find €15 DLCs to be a bit on the ridiculous side, so I would definitely recommend checking out some reviews before springing for your wallet, just to be on the safe side.

And as a final note, here's the most recent gameplay trailer showing off footage from both DLCs. There's not a lot of story on display, so if you're worried about spoilers I'd say its perfectly fine to give the video a look, as long as you've played the original Resident Evil 7 anyway. Enjoy!
