Hearthstone artwork for a tar-dinosaur

During the most recent Murloc Tinyfin genocide, also known as the official Hearthstone stream, Blizzard has finally revealed a new batch of cards coming with the upcoming Journey to Un'Goro expansion. And unlike the previous reveal this one actually brought with it some interesting cards, including yet another legendary to support the long-awaited Control Hunter archetype.

As is tradition Blizzard is being incredibly slow with updating their official website and Facebook page with all of the newly revealed cards, so if you're interested in the new additions I would recommend heading over to Reddit instead. If you don't feel like digging through all of the cards, however, here's a few of my favorites to at least give you a taste of what's to come:

Hearthstone A Journey to Un'Goro Arcanologist

The "we admit secrets suck" card

Hearthstone A Journey to Un'Goro Swamp King Dred card

A slow but potentially useful Control Hunter Legendary

Hearthstone Journey to Un'Goro Tar Creeper card

Its a Sen'Jin that comes a turn earlier... that's not actually bad!

Hearthstone A Journey to Un'Goro Golakka Crawler card

Do you hate pirates? So does Blizzard!

Hearthstone Journey to Un'Goro Elise the Trailblazer card

Winner of "most likely useless due to Jade Golems" award

As a final note, allow me to just clarify what exactly Elise does. The sealed Un'Goro pack is a 2 mana spell that gives you five random cards from the Journey to Un'Goro set. These can be both spells and minions, cards from your class or from other classes, as well as cards of random rarity. In order to counterbalance all of this randomness the sealed pack will have a much higher chance of yielding epic and legendary cards, which could come in handy should Hearthstone ever allow proper control vs control matches to happen. As you can see yourself Elise probably won't be a terribly useful card, but with decent stats and an enjoyable effect it might just find its place in at least some decks.
