Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition screenshot showing off the new visuals

Bulletstorm, the incredibly mature shooter that's all about hitting people in the groin and then chucking them onto a cactus, is apparently getting a new and improved version. The rather tamely named Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will bring with it hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, better audio, and most importantly, a much smoother frame rate - even on 4K resolutions!

If you're wondering what this might look like, Gearbox released a rather terrible trailer showcasing the visual and audio improvements. The fancy new graphics are all there, but the trailer has almost none of the personality and ridiculously over the top violence Bullestorm is famous for, so do bear that in mind before you dive in. Disclaimers aside, here's the video:

As an added little bonus, if you decide to preorder Bullestrom before its April 7 release date you'll also get Duke Nukem as a playable character. Best of all, Duke isn't a simple reskin of the main character, he has a fully customized dialogue and brand new lines from the original voice of Duke himself! I still wouldn't recommend preordering, but I have to admit, that's one hell of an incentive!

And as a final note, here's a couple of images showcasing the new and improved visuals:
