Dragon's Teeth and Robbery DLC are completely free

In an effort to promote the upcoming Battlefield 5 EA has decided to give away all DLC for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline over the next few months.

The first batch of free DLC, available until May 10, consists of Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth and Battlfield Hardline: Robbery, two rather sizable expansions. Here's a brief overview of what each one consists of:

Dragon's Teeth brings with it four urban maps (Sunken Dragon, Propaganda, Pearl Market, Lumphini Garden), Chain Link as the new game mode that requires you to stick together with your team, and The R.A.W.R, a cute little RC car armed with a machine gun and grenade launcher.

As a special promotion, if the community as a whole manages to score 2,500,000 knife kills by May 10 everyone will be granted a gold battlepack which unlocks 2 advanced and three standard items.

Battlefield Hardline - battle in the middle of the street

Battlefield Hardline's Robbery DLC is almost a mirror of Dragon's Teeth. It brings with it four new expansive maps to explore (Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, Precinct 7), a new Squad Heist game mode that serves as a homage to Battlefield 3's Squad Rush, new weapons and gadgets (including a Gas Launcher), as well as a prestige mode that allows you to reset your levels in return for cosmetic rewards.

The special promotion in Battlefield Hardline is centered around the Heist game mode and requires the community to collectively score 300,000 points in order to get a, you guessed it, gold battlepack.
