Shiness is an indie action-RPG that's all about exploring a colorful world and beating up a wide variety of monsters that inhabit it. This isn't done in the usual RPG combat style, however, as Shiness takes much of its influence from fighting games. As such the combat is all about combos, parries, and carefully timed blocks rather than pure button-mashing.
While the recently posted trailer won't give you an idea of what the combat is like, it will give you a good look at the world you'll be exploring and the music you'll be listening to throughout your journey. So if you're interested in seeing what Shiness has to offer you'll find the video right below:
As is tradition for an RPG you will have multiple characters to play around with - five of them in total. Each one brings with them unique strengths and abilities that you can use in either combat or exploration, as well as bunch of spells and effects you can choose from when leveling them up. Since I obviously haven't played Shiness myself I can't tell you much about them, but if you'd like to learn a little bit more you can find what you seek over at the official website or Steam.
On the other hand, if you would like to give it a try for yourself you won't have to wait for long as Shiness is set to arrive this April 18th for the PC and consoles. And finally, here's a couple of colorful images to send you off:
