Frozenbyte, the studio most famous for their Trine series, is currently working on a brand new co-op action-adventure seemingly inspired by Magicka. What this means in gameplay terms is that you will be able to master a wide variety of spells and effects, explode or crush hordes upon hordes of enemies, and hopefully try to do all of that without accidentally killing all of your allies in either local or online co-op.

The similarities to Magicka appear to be blindingly obvious, but as you'll see in the trailer below they might just be skin deep. Whatever the case may be, here's a brief and very colorful look at Nine Parchments:

I would love to tell you more about the gameplay, especially in regards to how the spells work, but I'm afraid the details are currently in very short supply. What I can tell you, however, is that Nine Parchments will be coming to PC and consoles (including the Nintendo Switch) this holiday season, though no exact release date has been given just yet. If you would like to learn a tiny bit more, with the emphasis being firmly placed on "tiny", you should head over to either Steam or the official website. And since I can offer you nothing else, allow me send you off with a couple of charming images:
