Nex Machina gameplay screenshot showing a giant laser

Nex Machina is a fast-paced twin-stick shooter that's entirely focused on over-the-top action and voxel-based destruction. It was originally announced as PlayStation 4 exclusive, but has now been confirmed for the PC as well. The PC version will naturally bring with it controller support, but if you don't own one there is no need to worry as the developers are working to ensure the mouse & keyboard configuration works just as well.

If you're wondering what Nex Machina looks like in action, wonder no more as the developers have posted a new trailer showcasing the PC version in all of its 4K glory. Before you dive in make sure to also turn up your volume as the soundtrack seems to be quite fitting for the carnage on display. Have a look:

In total Nex Machina will bring with it over 100 levels set in five different worlds, as well as plenty of secret paths and levels to uncover. And for those of you looking for even greater challenges there will also be specially tailored feats and achievements, as well as a whole bunch of unlockables to collect.

To learn more I would recommend heading over to either the official website or Steam. And as a final note, here's a couple of overly flashy images:
