Last Day of June is a newly announced narrative driven adventure game from the creator of Murasaki Baby. While most of the details are still shrouded in mystery, the premise is simple and straightforward: what would you do to save the one you love?

While you ponder that question allow me to share with you the recently posted announcement trailer. It might not have any dialogue, but I'm pretty sure you'll get a good idea of what exactly Last Day of June is trying to accomplish. Anyway, here's the video:

So from what I can figure out our protagonist and his love interest are bound to end up in a car crash that will result in her dying and him being stuck in a wheelchair. This is where we, the players, come in to the picture as its our goal to prevent the disaster in any way we can. As I've mentioned before its a simple premise, but it definitely has a lot of potential given the amount of character development you can put into this sort of narrative. I'll personally wait for more information before getting excited, but so far Last Day of June is definitely worth keeping an eye on!

The official website doesn't hold anything of interest right now, but if you would like to follow Last Day of June's development it would probably be wise to get it bookmarked anyway. As for the release date and platforms, the only thing I can tell you is that Last Day of June will be coming to PC and PS4. That said, if I was a betting man I would say the release date will be set for June 30th, for obvious reasons.
