Exploration-focused RPG Outward is getting its very first expansion - The Soroboreans

[Update #2]: The Soroboreans expansion has now arrived alongside highly positive reviews.
[Update]: The Soroboreans expansion has been pinned for a June release date on PC, and July on PS4 and Xbox One.
While Outward is certainly a niche RPG, it's one that I found to be quite compelling as it provides a real sense of adventure and exploration. As such, I am very happy to say that Outward will soon be getting its very first expansion - The Soroboreans!
The details are few and far between, but so far the developers have confirmed three major features. First of all, you will be able to drastically adjust your weapons and trinkets through the use of the new enchanting system. Given how magic works in Outward, I fully expect enchantments to be immensely powerful, as well as immensely hard to acquire!
Overwatch PTR update has brought in replay sharing and much-needed Mei nerfs

[Update #2]: Overwatch Archives 2020 update has now suddenly arrived, bringing with it PvE challenges and some truly amazing new skins.
[Update]: The Season 21 update has brought in Hero Bans, a brand new map rotation, and even more balance changes.
Ever since Overwatch added replays, the most requested feature has been the ability to easily share those replays with friends and content creators. Well, it may have taken Blizzard quite a while, but I'm happy to say that the newest PTR update has now finally brought in just this feature!
The way the system works is about as simple as it gets. Each replay has a corresponding six-digit code, so share that with your friends through whatever means you prefer, and they'll be able to immediately check out your replay. The one big limitation is that the replay code will only work for the current patch, which given the rapid update schedule these past few months, means that each replay will have a shelf-life of around a few weeks.
Code Vein's Frozen Empress DLC has now arrived, though sadly alongside mostly negative reviews

Despite some development trouble, Bandai Namco's Souls-like Code Vein ended up being a pretty darn good game. Yet, for whatever reason, Code Vein's DLCs have so far been nothing short of a disappointment.
Hellfire Knight, the first DLC, released in late January and was both incredibly uninspired and incredibly short. That wouldn't be too big of a deal if the price point was appropriate, especially since the last boss was actually quite fun, but alas Hellfire Knight was and still is €10. So while I would love to say that the newly released Frozen Empress has fared much better, it's sadly pretty much the same story.
The Wonderful 101: Remastered is coming in late May for PC, PS4 and Switch

A little while ago, PlatinumGames announced that they need a little bit of extra funding in order to self-publish The Wonderful 101: Remastered. To achieve this goal, they set up a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign asking for an oddly specific but still quite reasonable $49,312.
They may have slightly underestimated just how many people would be interested in The Wonderful 101: Remastered, however, as the community managed to blow past all of the stretch goals and raise an impressive $1,446,295 in a mere few days! Because of this, the remaster will not only be releasing on the Nintendo Switch, but also on the PlayStation 4 and PC!

If you're tired of every Hearthstone Battlegrounds match revolving around an endless parade of Murlocs, Demons and Mechs, you'll be glad to hear a brand new update has just arrived. It brings with it dragons as a fiery new tribe, 18 new minions of which 12 are dragons, an assortment of new Dragon heroes to toy around with, as well as a variety of balance changes and tweaks.
You can get a bit of an idea of what to expect, as well as what some of the new dragons have to offer, through the recently posted teaser trailer. Have a peek, it's a fairly short one:
Newly released Lair of the Clockwork God combines platforming and humor with point & click puzzles

When it comes to mixing genres, usually the developers tend to go with ones that complement each other. For example, combining Metroidvania-style exploration with an action-RPG combat and progression system makes perfect sense. The newly released Lair of the Clockwork God does not do that!
Instead, Lair of the Clockwork God goes the complete opposite direction by combining the slow and meticulous point & click gameplay with the frantic pace of a platformer. Add to that a very loose connection to reality, as well as plenty of humor, and you've got a bit of unusual game before you.
Path of Exile is getting a massive new update in early March - Delirium
- By Ash
- in News
March is nearly upon us, and as is tradition at this point, Path of Exile devs have announced a massive new update - Delirium. It brings with it an assortment of new challenges to undertake, new Cluster Jewels that give you even more talent choices to play around with, new skill and support gems, as well as a whole assortment of new items and quality-of-life changes to spice up the season.
The new Delirium mechanic should feel quite familiar to anyone that has played Path of Exile for a while. Once you allow the mists of Delirium to overtake you, new enemies will spawn all around you, while existing foes will gain brand new and powerful abilities. The big difference is that this applies to even to old bosses, so if you're in the mood to ramp up their difficulty and rewards, simply step into Delirium and challenge them anew.
