MTG Arena has banned the annoying Tibalt's Trickery and Memory Lapse from the Historic format

[Update #2]: MTG Arena's Innistrad: Crimson Vow expansion is set to launch on November 11th.
[Update]: As an additional bonus, Wizards of the Coast has also added a Standard-focused and half-price Jumpstart event aimed at beginners.
Between the various Standard sets, Historic Anthologies, Jumpstarts and Strixhaven's Mystical Archives, MTG Arena's Historic format has received a massive amount of powerful new cards over the course of this year. While this influx of new cards has given rise to a whole assortment of fun new deck archetypes, it has unsurprisingly also resulted in a couple of balance problems.
There is no better example of this than Tibalt's Trickery, a card that is almost completely unusable in the Standard format, yet oppressive in Historic thanks to a particularly strong synergy with Throes of Chaos that allows it to cheat out powerful threats turn after turn. While the combo itself is vulnerable to tax-based effects, it very often leads to extremely linear and extremely boring games where so little happens you might as well flip a coin to see who wins.

[Update]: Overwatch is currently testing some rather strange buffs to McCree, Junkrat, Torbjorn and Moira, while McCree's name will soon be getting changed for good.
As is unfortunately often the case these days with Blizzard, it's time to play the 'good news, bad news' game. The good news is that not only has the Halloween Terror 2021 event now arrived alongside a whole bunch of awesome skins, but the accompanying update has also added some rather exciting improvements for Mercy.
First things first, here's the brief teaser trailer showing off each of the new skins in action, as well as highlighting the rewards for the three weekly challenges:

If you've somehow managed to avoid playing Disco Elysium all this time, yet you're eager to give it a try, you might be pleased to hear that the new and improved Disco Elysium - The Final Cut has now landed onto PC and consoles. Best of all, the PC version is currently 45% on Steam!
When it comes to the changes, The Final Cut brings with it a very important addition - full voice acting for all of the characters, including the various player skills and internal narration. You can also expect to see new quests, new characters and locations, as well as a variety of small tweaks, quality of life changes and optimizations.
League of Legends is temporarily removing All Chat in an effort to fight toxicity

[Update]: Patch 11.21 has now arrived, and with it All Chat has gone *poof*.
In an effort to combat League of Legend's problem with toxicity, Riot has now opted to go with some rather drastic measures. As such, once update 11.21 arrives the long-standing all chat option will be temporarily going away in order to monitor its impact on the amount of reports and penalties, as well as the changes in negative behavior among the community.
"While /all chat can be the source of fun social interaction between teams, as well as some good-hearted banter, right now negative interactions outweigh the positives," reads the developer update. "We'll evaluate the impact of this change through verbal abuse reports and penalty rates, as well as surveys and direct feedback from you all."
Total War: Warhammer 3 devs have unveiled the long awaited and much needed Siege rework

[Update #2]: The latest gameplay preview offers a closer look at a siege battle between Tzeentch (attackers) and Cathay (defenders).
[Update]: Creative Assembly has now detailed the Tzeentch faction and its crazy campaign mechanics.
While Total War: Warhammer is a brilliant series, and one that has devoured more of my free time than I'm willing to admit, it has always had one major issue dragging it down - siege battles. Despite being the most numerous battles past the first 100 turns, sieges are overly simplistic and monotonous, as well as extremely easy to trivialize due to the weak AI.
Thankfully, this won't be a problem for much longer as Total War: Warhammer 3 will bring with it a major rework of sieges as a whole! Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you the recently posted preview as it highlights exactly what Creative Assembly is doing in order to make sieges more interesting, strategic, and most importantly of all, fun. [Update]: The third End of Dragons beta is coming this October 26, 2021 with the Mechinist, Specter and Untamed
Guild Wars 2's third expansion End of Dragons is set to arrive in February 2022, bringing with it the long-awaited return of Cantha - the southwestern continent not seen since the original Guild Wars. Besides a bunch of new areas to explore, End of Dragons will also add nine new specializations to play around with, a combat-focused turtle mount that seats two players, new endgame content, as well as both a fishing profession and player-controlled boats!
While ArenaNet has sadly not shown off all of those things just yet, I'm happy to say that the two freshly posted previews have now given us a glimpse at the Shining Jea Island zone, the fishing profession, as well as the personal skiffs. Have a peek:

[Update]: Halloween Terror 2021 event has now gone live, and sadly there is absolutely no new PvE content. On the positive side, the accompanying update did add some awesome Mercy improvements!
Given that Halloween is fast approaching it should come as little surprise to hear that Blizzard has now announced that Overwatch's annual Halloween Terror event is coming back once more. What might come as quite a surprise, however, is that they did not leave much time between the announcement and its release!
So if you're in the mood for some spooky, scary skins, you'll be pleased to hear that Halloween Terror 2021 will be launching this October 12th! The event will last until November 2nd, and much like before, will bring with it an assortment of new and old cosmetics to collect, as well as the co-op focused Junkenstein’s Revenge mode.
